Mountain

Psalm 18 4:6
The ropes of death surrounded me;
the floods of destruction swept over me.
The grave wrapped its ropes around me;
death itself stared me in the face.
But in my distress I cried out to the Lord;
yes,I prayed to my God for help.
He heard me from his sanctuary;
My cry reached his ears.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a human one"

An Appeal

The Raindance Foundation is the result of a vision I had nearly 5 years ago. (Don’t ask, it’s been a long hard road)! At that time it was a dream that was a long way from becoming a reality. One of the most miraculous things to happen to me in those years was that in 2001 I had another dream and out of that came “Far Beneath the Sky”, a poem. I have now written well over 100. At the beginning of this year my first poem was published, it is called “Over the Rainbow” a poem about promise. I have never been able to express myself in any way remotely like this before and it is one of the most wonderful things to happen in my life. And that along with my photography is an expression of my life. I believe in getting up close and personal and this is a great media to enable me to do that.
I am moved by life and try to live it to the full. Few things fail to move me more than homelessness and chemical dependency. It is a tragedy to all concerned, and in the 21st century a blight on society. I have known of many people over the years whose lives it has taken.This will always be the main focus of our work in the UK as long as this problem exists.
These are exciting times and after a long struggle the “Foundation” although in its infancy is moving forward in a dynamic way.At present we are currently seeking charitable status. There is still a long way to go, and many rivers to cross, before I will see that vision come to fruitition. That is where I need your help. My, and indeed our best efforts will be in vain, without that. Please make it your vision and join me in prayer, that the fathers' will be done, and that this foundation is given all the resources needed to make it a successful, dynamic and exciting organisation. Moving forward and enabling many unfortunate individuals get the life that they deserve and one that we sometimes take for granted.

Thank You

William McHaffie.
