Tabitha House

Helping Those in Need to Help Themselves

This is our bread and butter. Our reason for being. It is hoped that Tabitha House will be fully functioning and up and running in the foreseeable future.
It is a supportive community for clients who are homeless. Our aim is to address a specific area of homelessness that affects many people. Addiction and dependency (whether that be through drugs or alcohol)
Many peoples lives are destroyed and affected by this condition. Whether that be the individual who is using or the family and friends of that person. Once they get well and are on the road to recovery many others benefit as well. All too often and sad to say, far too many people also lose their lives as a result of addiction.
The Raindance foundation was set up by William McHaffie who noticed there was a lack of resources in the Scottish Borders to address this problem.
It is hoped that Tabitha House will be set in a scenic part of this area where clients will be able to take time out from their chaotic lifestyles to recover from years of abuse and to move forward into a far more rewarding life, with a more holistic attitude towards their life and future.
Please pray for this.

William Mchaffie

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another counsellor who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.
John 14 v15

There are three things that will endure - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
